Our Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a team player who is innately curious and driven to learn. We expect that you'll meet the following requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, New Media, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field of study
  • Proficient in commonly used design tools/software such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and the proven ability to design both effective and beautiful solutions
  • Ideally, you have experience in all stages of the design process including research, UX architecture definition, user flows, wireframes, visual design, and prototyping
  • You have an online portfolio or PDF that demonstrates your design chops, (applicants without a portfolio included will not be considered).

What You Will Do

Designers at ITX contribute to a wide range of digital products. They play a key role in uncovering the problems to solve, defining product requirements, designing effective and elegant solutions and seeing those solutions through to implementation. As a design intern, you can expect to:

  • Work as a fully integrated ITX design team member. Several interns have gone on to become full-time ITX employees!
  • Solve challenging problems and design solutions that will have a real-world impact, and get feedback from seasoned professionals along the way
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and clients located all over the world
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of what it’s like to work at a full lifecycle software design and development company
  • Provide a wide range of design deliverables and support including: UX research, wireframing, visual design, prototyping, motion graphics, presentations, participation in team and client meetings, ITX marketing, and more
